Allergy Air Purifiers

Coughing, spluttering, sneezing, splitting headaches and asthma attacks used to be my life that was until I stumbled across allergy air purifiers – and now I can breathe easy for the first time! Ever since I was a little girl I have been allergic to what seems to be everything, to breathe for me was to sneeze. I grew up in the city and it was the carbon monoxide from the cars, the flowers in the parks, the chemicals that local factories pumped into the air, the next door neighbor’s cigarettes and even my mother’s perfume – you name it and I was allergic to it.
Well my mother could change her perfume, which she did but we felt helpless in the face of these other allergens that were affecting me both inside and outside the house and we hadn’t heard of allergy air purifiers. So I struggled as a child and through my teen years with always a clean handkerchief and an inhaler to cope with a daily life that was torture.
I now have a young family of my own and my two year old daughter seems to have inherited the same allergies that I have suffered with for years and it was when I was looking for a solution for her that I heard about allergy air purifiers and how they have been improving people’s lives for a long time. I was talking to my local doctor explaining how my daughter always seemed sick. I broke down and cried sharing my history of allergies with her and she told me that there was something I could do. She told me about allergy air purifiers and the positive effects that they have on allergy sufferers lives.
I was astonished to hear that 8 out of 10 people who suffer from allergies are like me they have symptoms all year due to the air quality in their houses. The air inside our houses is apparently dirty (a lot dirtier than the outside air), many allergens resist vacuuming, dusting and sweeping and then there are all of the airborne nasties. Combined they can cause things like allergies, asthma, dizziness, sinus issues, ear infections, headaches, nausea, and respiratory infections. Wow this is what has been happening to me all of my life, I knew that I couldn’t control the air outside my house but I could use allergy air purifiers to help me breathe in my home that would be a huge relief. I didn’t think that help could be so simple.
The doctor proceeded to tell me that there are a number of different types of allergy air purifiers to choose from including furnace filters, HEPA air purifiers, ionic air cleaners and ozone generators, to name a few and that these systems have been developed through many years of research and have very different functions. Apparently people have been searching for ways to purify air for over 200 hundred years!
Once the history lesson was over and armed with a number of brochures outlining the different types of allergy air purifiers I started my search for a solution for my household. Finding the right allergy air purifiers can be difficult as there is so much information and so many different types. The solution really needs to fit your particular requirements and I have documented below some general handy hints to help you navigate the different types of allergy air purifiers:
Tips for buying allergy air purifiers:
• Before you decide on which of the many types of allergy air purifiers will best suit you audit your house and make a list of the key allergens that you feel are causing you problems. Add to this list the ongoing health issues that you and your family are dealing with on a daily basis. Some units work better on odors and if you have a lot of small particles to be removed from the air a different unit would be more appropriate. This audit is your guide to find the right allergy air purifier to suit your needs;
• Whatever the type of allergy air purifiers that you choose, ensure that they have the capacity capture the smallest particles and have the capacity to catch lots of them – some allergens are microscopic and your purifier needs to be as efficient as possible in removing these from the air;
• The capacity of allergy air purifiers is labeled according to the room size so measure the rooms that you need to “purify” so you know what size “air volume” unit that you need and that the unit you purchase will be capable of doing the job;
• Filters can be costly to replace on allergy air purifiers so when you choose a unit check out the replacement costs and how often it is recommended to change it. Ask yourself how easy is it to use, to change filters and to clean the purifier
• Check for warranties that come included with the price and ask if it complies with quality and safety requirements;
• Is the allergy air purifier noisy when it operates – ask for a demonstration in the showroom before taking one home;
• And lastly perform a forum search online and read the feedback from people who already using the allergy air purifiers that you are interested in buying. Take note of what units to be wary of and the purifiers that have really worked and provided relief;

So if you are like I was and suffering from constant allergies check out allergy air purifiers, in a short time you can start to breathe easy and start to enjoy your life again.
